Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) confirmed that the two fetuses which died at IGMH yesterday and last night are believed to be an intra-uterine fetal death.

After the rumors of the two deaths, the IGMH news press release confirms that the two unborn fetuses died pre labor at IGMH. Moreover, the hospital has claimed that after every prenatal death, the hospital undergoes proper investigations.

Addressing the prenatal deaths, the IGMH press release promised to provide information about these cases if the family grants permission.

In addition, IGMH has also stated that the special committee from the Ministry of Health will investigate such cases as well.

IGMH has expressed their deepest condolences to the victim’s families.
