IGMH begins training programs for Nurses of Hulhumale’ Hospital

The main aim of these training programs is to establish a National Institute for Trauma and Orthopedics at Hulhumale’ Hospital in the near future.

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has initiated training sessions for Nurses currently working at Hulhumale’ Hospital’s Operation Theater.

In a press statement released by IGMH, the hospital said that a goal of this program is to improve the Operation Theater services of Hulhumale’ hospital.

IGMH stated that these training programs are conducted by the most skilled and experienced staff of the Department of Orthopedics and trauma surgery and IGMH Operating Theater services. Furthermore, IGMH has mentioned that currently two nurses are undergoing extensive hands on training.

The hospital has also stated that on the 7th November 2019, regular orthopedics outpatient and ortho surgery services will start at Hulhumale’ hospital by the Department of Orthopedics and trauma surgery of IGMH.
