100th Knee replacement (Arthroplasty) surgery milestone was accomplished yesterday at IGM Hospital.
With the aid of government health scheme “Aasandha”, this surgery was successfully performed by two qualified doctors of IGMH, Dr. Hussain Faisal And Dr. Ismail Zahir.
With reference to this milestone, IGMH released a press statement detailing the surgery.
The news briefing states that Vice president Faisal Naseem personally appreciated the dedication and hard work of the two doctors who facilitated this surgery successfully.
Moreover, the vice president met the patient as well, the briefing states.
Maintaining and establishing a trusted health care system in the country is also stated in the manifesto of the current ruling party. This surgery is also available in the government hospital IGMH and some private hospitals including Tree top hospital and Medica hospital.
