Maldives foods and drug authority (MFDA) has launched an online portal known as “Dhirithi”.

With the aim of providing effortless services to community, the launching ceremony was inaugurated by Minister of Health Mr. Abdullah Ameen.

MFDA released a news briefing which stated that, the aim of “Dhirithi” portal is to provide excellent service to the community and this is another ease to facilitate government tasks.

Furthermore, MFDA declared that tasks such as food and drug safety management and the special permits will go under this online portal.

As per the MFDA news briefing, Introducing the “Dhirithi” portal is going to be an added advantage on government manifesto under digitalizing the health care system.
