Fuvahmulah hospital located in Fuvahmulah, is now offering Dialysis services for the first time.

A ceremony was held to mark the beginning of this service, and was inaugurated by the Vice President of Maldives, Mr. Faisal Naseem.

According to the Ministry of health, the dialysis center was built with a total of 3 beds. Moreover, a visiting Nephrologist from Addu city will be consulting at this center once every three months.

Currently in the Maldives, with the exclusion of capital Male’ city, 60 patients in 7 regions undergo dialysis treatments regularly.
