Th. Vilufushi Health center has started a medical camp associated with Vilufushi council, focusing on health wellness.

This medical camp will be conducted for three days and the camp officially started yesterday. 

Thaa Vilusfushi health center in charge Mr. Siuth stated that four doctor and nurses are active on this camp. This includes specialist doctors for gynecology, cardiology, radiology and pediatrics, who are actively involved in the camp.

Mr. Siuth also stated that the camp got a lot of support from the Vilufushi community for this camp. During the registration period a total 500 people registered, including a huge number of women.

During the medical camp patients will be screened for breast and cervical cancer. Doctors will consult patients for different medical issues such as cardiology and pediatric consultations.

Mr. Siuth said that this medical camp was hosted successfully with the help of Hulhumale hospital and the Society for Health Education (SHE).

Moreover, Hulhumale hospital provided 3 doctors and 3 nurses for the camp, says Siuth.

The health center happily appreciates the hard work and support of the Vilufushi local community towards this camp.
