A health conference will be held next Monday on Paradise Island Resort by the Ministry of Health.

The “National conference on revitalizing public health: working together for a healthier nation” was announced in a press conference held at the Ministry of Health.

According to the Ministry, this health conference is held to discuss the Strategic Action Plan (SAP) for the health industry in the next 5 years, with relevant parties on a national platform.

The Ministry of health is partnering with WHO to hold the conference.

The main aims of the health conference are to enlighten law makers and decision makers on the population changes and how to solve health problems present in the community. It also includes discussions on the importance of a health lifestyle and how it benefits the community.

Moreover, the health conference will include a strategic pathway for important goals set for the health industry of the Maldives.
