Maldives’s first oral and maxillofacial surgeon has begun consulting at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). 

In a press statement, the hospital stated that Dr Fathuhulla Saeed has started working at IGMH from 5th January 2020.

Dr Fathuhulla Saeed specializes in surgery of the face, mouth, and jaws. This includes common oral surgical problems, jaw and congenital facial disproportion, facial trauma, and oral cancer.

Moreover, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon can perform dental implants, perform cosmetic dental procedures and treat facial injuries.

With more and more new specialists coming to the Maldives, it will surely impact the health industry of the country in a positive way.
