Minister of Health Mr. Abdulla Ameen departs for Abdu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the 7th Islamic conference of Ministers of Health from member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The OIC Health ministers and high-level representatives from the Member states, various OIC institutions and international organization will attend the meeting, which is under the theme “Quality of Life”.

During the conference that is held between 15-17 of December, the OIC Health ministers will discuss about the OIC strategic health program action and healthy lifestyle, prevention and control, and about communicable and non-communicable diseases.

The OIC conference is held every two years, and this year will mark the 7th year of the conference. The last time this conference was held in 2017, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
