Aasandha company holds information session on “Merana scheme” in Malaysia
The government health scheme, Aasandha company, has concluded an information session regarding “Merana scheme”, focused on the Maldivian citizens living in Malaysia.
In a press release, Aasandha company stated that “Merana scheme” was launched under the government’s promise to provide effortless health services to the Maldivians living in neighboring countries such as India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. This information session was held at the Maldivian high commission in Malaysia.
A large number of Maldivians took part in this session which provided information regarding “Merana Scheme” and answered any questions from the participants.
A panel from Aasandha company also provided information on the regulations of “Merana scheme”. Furthermore, during this trip the team will hold discussions with the Malaysian health care travel council regarding cashless services, as the “Merana scheme” only provides reimbursement services at the moment. In addition, the team will also discuss ways to improve the experience and skill of the staff.
The information session also highlighted the registration details to the online portal (meranaa.aasandha.mv). Aasandha company has advised the Maldivian community living in Malaysia to follow their website (aasandha.mv) for further details.
