Meemu Dhiggaru health center started a "Skin health camp" in association with Tree top hospital.

This camp started this morning at 08:00 and will commence till tonight 2100 hours. 

The team of doctors who are volunteers from Tree top hospital are Dr. Faruzeen Nasir and Dr. Hana Solih. They are also from the Dermatology society of Maldives.

In charge of Dhiggaru health centre, Mr. Mohamed Nadheem states they got a huge support from the Dhiggaru island community after they opened for registration since yesterday onwards. He also states that within this period a total of 120 locals has been already registered and screened.

As per doctors participating this event, Mr. Nadheem states that most of the patients were treated and screened for general skin allergies. 

Moreover, this camp was held with the approval of Ministry of health of the Maldives and patients are being treated and consulted under the government Aasandha health scheme.

Dhiggaru health center is also planning to hold a Circumcision Camp this December focused on the festival all around each year.
